Light roast coffee is the one that surprises people. It actually has more caffeine than dark roast (roasting burns caffeine off — the longer the roast, the less caffeine). It also tastes completely different from what most people expect from coffee: bright, sometimes fruity, floral, clean. Ethiopian light roast can genuinely taste like blueberries. If you've only ever had dark roast, light roast will feel like a different drink. Best brewed as pour-over or drip to let the flavours come through. All roasted fresh to order.
